It was 2014 when we first arrived from Australia to settle in the Highlands of Scotland; soon after we decided to find something special and unique to offer our customers and visitors to the region and thus ”Affric Trail Whisky” was born. The name was chosen to signify our local area and very quickly it became extremely popular with everyone; even being bought by some very notable people in UK society.
Our original expression was a delightful 10 year old that had been matured in oak barrels. With its light amber colouring and subtle smoky flavours with hints of cedar wood & mulled fruits and at 40% was very popular even with those with the most discerning palette.
After the initial release we began to release single cask expressions; each whisky being from a single cask and that makes these releases very limited in numbers; below is a list of the past releases of Affric Trail that people from all over the world have enjoyed.
